POLICE in East Lothian are appealing for information following two housebreaking incidents in Prestonpans and Haddington.
The first incident happened between last Thursday (August 18) and Tuesday at Appin Drive, Prestonpans, when a garage was forced open, when two bicycles and a set of golf clubs were stolen.
The second was an attempted housebreaking at an address on Haddington's West Road, which happened overnight between Monday and Tuesday.
However, no entry was gained to the property.
Inspector Andrew Harborow, of Tranent Police Station, said: "If anyone remembers seeing any suspicious behaviour in those areas around that time, please contact us."
