PUPILS from Prestonpans took their polite parking message onto the streets this week as they tackled inconsiderate drivers.
Youngsters from Prestonpans Primary School, Infant School and St Gabriel's Primary School were all on patrol outside their school gates as parents dropped of their children this week.
They taped posters to lampposts, flew banners from barriers and handed out leaflets promoting their #positivepansparking messsage.
The pupils were joined on their morning patrols by community police officer Fiona Cunningham and members of the new East Lothian parking attendants team.
The initiative aims to encourage parents to park further away from the schools and walk their children to the gates.
