The Rotary Club of North Berwick carried out a beach clean at East and West Beach in the town last Monday.
Bruce Wilson, a member of the group, said: “The group helps out with an initiative started by the Scottish Seabird Centre and meets up on a regular basis to scour the East and West Beaches for the variety of unsightly bits and bobs of rubbish brought in by the tides and deposited on our beautiful beaches.
"It’s a time-consuming process but we are so often buoyed by the positive comments from passers-by.”
