A PLEA for help with a forthcoming exhibition in Musselburgh has been issued.
The Musselburgh Museum and Heritage Group’s display will highlight the town’s public transport of yesteryear.
The community is being asked to support the event by contributing material.
Organiser Barry Turner said: “We have a good supply of photographs and maps relating to the trains, buses and trams, though we could always use more.
“We need to supplement these with personal recollections and related artefacts. If readers have things like old tickets and timetables, cap badges, models, please get in touch.
“We would also like people’s personal recollections of riding on the old buses, trams and trains or working for the organisations which ran them. Photos of transport staff doing their work would also be most welcome.”
Anyone who can help should contact Mr Turner on 0131 665 1418 from Tuesday or any time at barry.turner2108@gmail.com
The exhibition will be in late spring/early summer in the museum on Musselburgh High Street.
