MEGAN Olshefski is the guest speaker for Friends of the John Gray Centre this week.
Following the Battle of Dunbar in 1650, Oliver Cromwell forced 4,000 Scottish prisoners of war 90 miles south to Durham, where they were imprisoned within Durham Cathedral.
Last year, Megan retraced their footsteps and made her own journey south.
Her talk about her journey and the prisoners, which takes place at the John Gray Centre on Haddington’s Lodge Street, is from 2pm on Friday (March 8).
Tickets are £3 on the door.
