BAGS of rope and fishing net have been removed from Dunbar Harbour. Glasgow-based Ocean Plastic Pots visits sites across the country and collects various discarded items.
Last month, representatives from the group visited the county harbour and collected three bags of rope and fishing net.
A spokesperson for the group said: “This is our fourth year recycling fishing net from this collection programme into Ocean Plastic Pots, working in partnership with the Ocean Recovery Project.
"To date, we have recycled 25 tonnes of rope and net, four tonnes of which have been removed from Scottish beaches.”
