VANDALS have forced the closure of public toilets in the centre of Musselburgh.
Mirrors have been smashed at the toilets on the town’s Shorthope Street.
This morning (Wednesday), a spokesperson for East Lothian Council confirmed the toilets were closed and there was no confirmed timeframe for them reopening.

They said: “Unfortunately both the ladies’ and gents’ toilets at Shorthope Street, Musselburgh, are currently closed due to vandalism.
“We will arrange for repairs to be carried out as soon as possible.”
