A DIAMOND couple are celebrating 60 years of married bliss.
Jim and Nan Reilly were joined by family and friends in toasting their happy marriage at the Longniddry Inn last month.
The couple, who live on Haddington’s Haldane Avenue, tied the knot at St Mary’s Parish Church on March 21, 1964.
Eighty-two-year-old Jim worked as an engineer, while Nan, 83, was a home help.
The couple, who have two children, Susan and Brian, and one grandson, Aaron, met “at the dancing”.
Susan told the Courier: “It was certainly love at first sight from my dad.
“He talks about his love for my mum constantly.”
