Ice cream could be on the menu at an East Lothian beauty spot
A BORDERS business could soon be serving up ice cream at a popular East Lothian coastal beauty spot.
East Lothian Council is weighing up a planning application for a mobile snack bar at the Linkfield Car Park at John Muir Country Park, near West Barns.
The application, from Lauder-based Tommy To You, would allow the snack van to be in place from 10am to 7pm throughout the week for the next three years.
A document included with the application notes that ice cream would “predominantly” be sold but also soft/hot drinks and confectionery.
A decision is expected by the end of next month.
