Police in East Lothian are appealing for witnesses after reports of a hooded man exposing himself while standing in a quiet residential street.
The incident happened on Wednesday night at The Parsonage, Musselburgh.
Police said they received reports of the man standing on a grass area next to rubbish bins at its junction with Millhill Lane.
He was reported to be wearing a dark hooded top, dark trousers and trainers.
Witnesses said they spotted the man indecently exposing himself at around 10pm.
Inspector Andrew Harborow, of Tranent Police Station, said: "If anyone was in the area and recognises the description of this man, please contact us."
