PARKING will be suspended in some streets in Cockenzie and Port Seton this week as a BBC film crew comes to East Lothian.
Shooting of the new BBC Three drama Clique will take place at locations in Cockenzie and Port Seton as well as Meadowmill.
Parking restrictions will be in place on Links Road, Port Seton, and Cockenzie High Street from 7am tomorrow morning.
The restrictions will run all day tomorrow and Wednesday on Links Road and from 7am to noon on Cockenzie High Street.
Clique is a new six-part drama focusing on life for two childhood friends as they move to university in Edinburgh.
It has been described as Skins for the university age.
A spokesperson for East Lothian Council said they and EnjoyLeisure staff had worked with the BBC to ensure as little disruption as possible was caused during the shoot.
She said: "We think it’s great news that a drama is being filmed in East Lothian, and Cockenzie in particular, and that Enjoy/ELC can assist."
