North Berwick golf legend Catriona Matthew finished level par in the Rio Olympic Games, 10 shots off a medal.
Matthew was the only player in the field to return a score of level par after her 72 holes, which saw her finish in 29th place overall.
The 46-year-old former Women's Open champion had been in contention going into round three, but a disappointing 77 (six-over-par) saw her fall away from the leaders.
The gold medal was won by South Korea's Inbee Park, who shot a final round 66 to finish 16-under-par.
World number one Lydia Ko, of New Zealand, was five shots further back to claim the silver medal, while China's Shanshan Feng took bronze.
Meanwhile, Matthew's Team GB colleague Charley Hull finished in seventh place, as women's golf made its return to the Olympics for the first time since 1900.
