COUNTY rugby starlet Lewis Carmichael could make his Edinburgh Rugby debut from the bench, against former European champions Munster tomorrow (Saturday).
Second-row Carmichael, from North Berwick, is on the bench for Alan Solomons' side as Grant Gilchrist is rested for the trip to Limerick.
Scotland cap Ben Toolis and 'A' internationalist Fraser McKenzie will start the match, with Carmichael primed for his debut off the bench.
If the 21-year-old, who earned a professional deal after impressing at Melrose last year, is called upon, he will be in direct opposition to South African enforcer Jean Kleyn and Munster captain Billy Holland.
The 40-times capped Ireland internationalist Donnacha Ryan is Munster's lock among their replacements.
Fellow East Lothian stars Chris Dean and Tom Brown are both included, with the former returning to the side at inside centre, in place of the injured Phil Burleigh.
