PRESTONPANS teenager Matthew Knox is set for a third trial at Manchester United next week.
The former Preston Lodge High School pupil signed a new two-and-a-half year contract extension with Livingston last week, but is now set for a third trip to United's training complex.
The county starlet has made just seven appearances for the Livingston first team this season - the most recent in the 4-0 win over Stenhousemuir on December 13.
He has, though, been the subject of interest from Rangers, who have had several bids turned down.
Knox, Livi's youngest-ever player after making his debut on Boxing Day 2015 - four days after his 16th birthday, has previously been on trial at Tottenham, Liverpool and Everton.
His week-long trial at Manchester United starts on Monday.
